Theft * November 29 -- A female University student reported that her laptop computer was taken from her room in Hill House at 3333 Walnut Street between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The laptop was valued at $3,000. It was unknown as of last night whether the room was secured.
* November 28 -- A person unaffiliated with the University reported that a laptop computer and a computer case containing software were taken from an unsecured room in an office building at 3401 Walnut Street, between 9:50 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. The items were valued together at $5,000.
* November 28 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that the rear passenger window of his locked car, which was parked on the 3800 block of Ludlow Street, was smashed between 12:05 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Taken was a laptop computer, valued at $2,500.
* November 28 -- A man whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that the driver's side lock of his car, which was parked on the 4000 block of Spruce Street, was punched out between November 22 and November 28. Taken was a radar detector, an insurance card, a registration card and $3 in cash. The items were valued together at $83.
* November 28 -- A man whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that his bicycle was taken from a bike rack on the 3600 block of Hamilton Walk between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The bike was valued at $700.
* November 27 -- A female University student reported that her unattended purse was taken from Van Pelt Library at 3620 Walnut Street between 5:50 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The student later found her purse in the bathroom. Taken were a cellular phone, a pair of sunglasses, a walkman and a camera, together valued at $375.
