Campus Crime Report

Theft * November 1 -- A male employee of the Coca-Cola company reported that a crate containing 11 money bags was taken from his truck, which was parked on the 3600 block of Chestnut Street, between 1 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. The bags contained $1,200 in cash.

* November 1 -- A man whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that his unsecured bicycle was taken from the 4200 block of Chestnut Street between 3:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. The bike was valued at $100.

* November 1 -- A male University student reported that the passenger window of his car, which was parked on the 400 block of South 41st Street, was smashed at about 5 p.m. Taken were 10 compact discs and some loose change, together valued at $200.

* November 1 -- A man whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that he was pickpocketed in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 3400 Spruce Street at about 7 p.m. He did not notice until he tried to purchase something and realized that his wallet was missing. The wallet contained $18 in cash.

* November 1 -- A male University student reported that several unattended articles of clothing were taken from a bench near the swimming pool in Gimbel Gymnasium at 3701 Walnut Street between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. The clothes were valued at $293.

* October 31 -- A male University student reported that his wallet was taken from an unsecured locker in the Veterinary Hospital at 3850 Spruce Street between 9 a.m. and noon. Someone then charged $80 on the student's credit card.

* October 31 -- A woman whose affiliation to the University was unknown reported that her unsecured, unattended wallet was taken from 3401 Walnut Street between 1:50 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. The wallet contained credit cards and $12 in cash.

* October 31 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that the front passenger window of his car, which was parked on the 3300 block of Walnut, was smashed between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Taken was a cable tester, valued at $6,000.
