Robbery * October 29 -- A female University student reported that a man approached her on the 3400 block of Walnut Street at 1:30 a.m. and asked for money. When the student refused, the man grabbed her purse, removed her wallet and took out $60 in cash. He then returned the wallet and fled. He is described as a black man in his 30s, 5'8" tall and clean-shaven.
Theft * October 28 -- A female University employee reported that the passenger window of her locked car, which was parked on the 200 block of South 38th Street, was smashed between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Taken were several CDs of undetermined value.
* October 28 -- A male University student reported that his secured bicycle was taken from the 4000 block of Locust Street between October 25 and October 28. The bike was valued at $100.
* October 28 -- A man whose affiliation to the University was unknown reported that the passenger window of his car, which was parked on the 200 block of South 31st Street, was smashed between 1 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Taken were several coins of unknown value.
* October 27 -- A female University employee reported that $5 in silver coins was taken from her car, which was parked on the 3900 block of Sansom Street, between 3:25 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. The employee reported that she did not secure the car because the locks do not work.
* October 27 -- A man whose affiliation to the University was unknown reported that the passenger window of his locked car, which was parked on the 100 block of South 41st Street, was smashed between October 23 and October 27. Taken was a purse, credit cards, $20 in cash, a clock and a passport.
* October 26 -- A female University student reported that her wallet was taken from her unattended purse in the Fisher Fine Arts Library at 220 S. 34th Street at about 1:30 p.m. The wallet contained credit cards and $30 in cash.
* October 14 -- A male University student reported that his secured bicycle was taken from the 3600 block of Locust Walk between October 12 and October 14. The bike was valued at $600.
