Three Quakers named first team All-Ivy in track The members were selected based solely on their performances at the Heptagonals Championships that took place last weekend at Cornell. "It was a good ending to a lot of build-up, which was very rewarding," Pagliasotti said. "[The first place] was almost a surprise, because myself and another guy were head-to-head through most of the competition." Anderson successfully defended his 1998 individual championship in his event to win the honor for the second straight year. He will find out later this week if he has qualified for the triple jump at the NCAA championships next weekend. Other members of the team who qualified for IC4As but not Nationals will be practicing this week and next for the finale of the indoor season, before the start of the outdoor season. "It's my second [All-Ivy selection]," Pagliasotti said. "I had one outdoors in the discus and I would like to continue that each season." -- Rhonda Textor
