Retail theftRetail theft· October 5 -- University Police arrested College junior Thomas Ruth, 21, at about 12:35 p.m. after a manager at the Wawa convenience store on 38th and Spruce streets saw him trying to leave the store without paying for a can of V8, a banana, an apple and a candy bar. The student was taken to the Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives bureau and charged with retail theft.
