To University Police, for not logging off-campus incidents and inconsistently logging rapes before the DP brought these policies to light. Thinking students will feel safer when they don't know about crime is fallacious. To Residential Living, for instituting a $30-per-day early move-in fee for students returning to campus before the fall semester begins to work on shows, practice with athletic teams and participate in activities planned by other student groups and clubs. To Public Safety Managing Director Thomas Seamon, for issuing a new master plan for campus safety that's done nothing visibly new. A good starting point would be those extra lights and reduction in curbside shrubbery that sororities and fraternities on Spruce and Walnut streets have been asking for since September. To the Athletic Department, for retaining coaches like Kathy Lawlor-Gilbert and Carol Bower, whose players have complained and compromised for far too long, and whose records are suffering as a result. To the Collegiate Planning Board, for poorly executing the "virtual college" pilot projects -- two of which were cancelled due to low enrollement -- and rushing the framework of a residential college house system into place. To the School of Arts and Sciences Personnel Committee, for again denying tenure to English Professor Gregg Camfield.
