Did the show feature any full frontal nudity? No. Was Penn Band drum major Kushol Gupta planning on disemboweling a sheep during "Farmer in the Dell"? No. Did the script mention, at any point, water buffalo? Absolutely not. It would seem the Leopards of Lafayette are more akin to Cowardly Lions, afraid to hear any sort of criticism of their oh-so-august institution. It's called a sense of humor, folks: Get one. And, honestly, which do you think the crowd in attendance would rather have watched: our beloved Penn Band, 55 members strong; or the band that Lafayette hired to play during halftime, the Chieftains Drum & Bugle, plus the oh-so-provocative Lafayette College Dancers (pictured below)? You make the call.
