Compiled by DP Sports Staff After Tuesday's home game against Philadelphia Textile was cancelled due to rain, Penn coach Bob Seddon made some calls looking to fill the empty weekend. "It allows our pitchers to stay in their rotation," Seddon said. Penn (5-7) sends Dan Galles and Ed Haughey, its top two pitchers, to the mound for the twin bill against the Explorers. The Quakers pounded La Salle 7-1 last season. Because the games were scheduled so recently, Seddon hasn't had much time to study the Explorers. "They're not playing real well right now, but city games are always competitive," he said. "I'm more worried about how we're playing right now."
