To the Editor, I have read the article and have to agree with the author that there were parts that should have never been printed (actually, Jeremy says were he to write it again he would change the target of his harshness but not his harshness as such). Jeremy's defense is that he is "a beginning writer." And I agree that it bares some validity. But isn't that what editors are for? Is there no form of editorial policy at the Red and Blue? Or will the ditors of the Red and Blue absolve themselves of responsibility because they are "beginning editors"? Derek Zhu SEAS/WH '98
