Compiled by DP Sports Staff The senior guard was injured with a little over 12 minutes remaining in the contest. He was driving to the basket for an open layup when Temple guard Levan Alston knocked him to the ground trying to keep him from scoring. Allen went to the bench while Scott Kegler took his place at the foul line. Allen got his wrist taped and returned after about two minutes on the bench. He showed no ill effects from the injury, penetrating for a layup and dishing out two assists. Penn sports information director Brad Hurlbut compared the injury to rolling an ankle. "It hurt bad, but he was able to play," Hurlbut said.
