Former Penn student Bruce Dern is pictured here on the set of the HBO TV series ‘Big Love.’ He played a polygamist on the show.

Bruce Dern received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010. Dern has worked with some of Hollywood’s most acclaimed directors over the years, including Elia Kazan and Francis Ford Coppola.
