Assault

June 15 — A male student, 19, reported at about 10:30 a.m. that he was assaulted by an unknown suspect on the 3700 block of Walnut St. Robbery

June 10 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 24, reported at about 4:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect forcibly took his iPod on the 4000 block of Locust Walk.

Fraud

June 14 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 58, reported at about 3:15 p.m. that an unknown suspect fraudulently used her money-order checks at the unit block of S. 40th Street. Theft

June 14 — Cornel Shuler, 52, unaffiliated with the University and if the unit block of S. Ruby Street, was arrested at about 5 p.m. for taking the unattended property of two women and a man, all unaffiliated with the University, at Wawa, located at 3604 Chestnut St.

June 13 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 51, reported at about 5:15 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed items from her unattended purse at Greek Lady, located at 224 South 40th St.

June 13 — A female employee, 28, reported at about 4:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed cash from her unattended purse at Cosi, located at 140 South 36th St.

June 13 — A female employee, 57, reported at about 4 p.m. that her unattended wallet was taken by an unknown suspect from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

June 13 — Computer items were reported taken at about noon from a room in Leidy Laboratories.

June 12 — A male student, 23, reported at about 9 p.m. that an unknown suspect took his bicycle, which was left unsecured on his porch on the 4000 block of Ludlow Street.

June 10 — A female student, 21, reported at about 9:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended purse from the 4200 block of Walnut Street.

June 10 — Tracey Brookins, 35, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4400 block of 19th Street, was arrested at about 6 p.m. for taking merchandise without paying from Ann Taylor, located at 133 South 36th St., and American Apparel, located at 3661 Walnut St.

June 10 — A male employee reported at about 11:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect removed an iPad from his secured office in Huntsman Hall. All information provided by the Division of Public Safety
