The senior forward put up goals in both of the wins earned by Penn women's soccer this weekend.

Penn continued its impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win over Delaware on Friday and a 4-2 win over Navy despite difficult weather conditions.

In this weekend's road trip for the Quakers, Stephens scored both games' opening goals to propel Penn women's soccer to two dominant wins, earning her the title of DP Sports Player of the Week.

This past weekend, Penn volleyball battled against Radford on Friday and Saint Francis and Lehigh in a doubleheader Saturday, losing all three matches 3-1 in the Valley Forge Sports Invitational Tournament.

The two weeks of official preseason is a quick turnaround to take a new team and prepare them be game-ready. Fortunately for Quakers, they bring back a lot of experience and talent.  

The weekend ended in a split, as Penn was victorious in a thrilling 2-1 win against Villanova before falling 4-0 to St. Joe’s. 

The team as a whole has 14 players from California and 16 from the rest of the world combined. The new freshman class is split almost down the middle: four from California and three not.

Qu has been a brick wall in goal for the Quakers since that day over two years ago, starting in every game the team has played while garnering conference-wide awards and attention from across the country.

The Red and Blue have already tallied six goals through three games. On pace to score 32 goals this season, the Quakers (2-1-0) look primed to shatter their previous amount from last season. 

The midfielder already has a goal, an assist, and 239 minutes of playing time under her belt with the Quakers.

This weekend, Penn field hockey participated in the inaugural ACC and Ivy League Conference Crossover, splitting a pair of games against No. 14 Wake Forest and No. 2 North Carolina.

New coach Iain Braddack picked up his first two wins at Penn in wins over Georgetown and Norfolk State. Penn also fell to George Mason and UNC-Wilmington.

Both teams were victorious at the Bison Open at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., scoring a total of 29 points each in the one-day meet.

While the record books may remember this game as a 1-0 loss for the Red and Blue, it was much more than that.

Penn women’s volleyball opens its first season under new coach Iain Braddak this weekend at the Georgetown Classic. The Quakers will compete against George Mason, Norfolk State, UNC-Wilmington and the host, Georgetown, in a round-robin format.

Friday’s Bison Open at Bucknell will serve as an early season benchmark for young Penn cross country.

Two days ago, coach Mike McLaughlin announced the 2018-2019 schedule for the Quakers, which features a bevy of competitive non-conference opponents before the beginning of Ivy League play starting in February.
