On Friday, Director of Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun announced the commencement of Game Onward: The Campaign for the Future of Penn Athletics.

It was a busy Fling weekend outdoors for Penn's athletes as men's golf, men's and women's tennis, rowing, and track and field were all in action.

A schedule change provided nothing but positives for the Quakers, as they enjoyed two days of fantastic weather and a series win over Princeton at the Tigers' Clarke Field.

So how did I manage to do it? What could I possibly have asked to get the heart and soul of Penn gymnastics to finally break? “Is there anything you aren’t good at?”

The University has not introduced any substantial reforms to the way athletes receive and request mental health care, either from Counseling and Psychological Services or through Penn Athletics, according to more than half a dozen athletes.

Penn gymnastics will be competing for the final time this weekend, as they head to Denton, Texas for the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships.

While the rest of us will be at Penn Park this weekend for the Spring Fling concert, several of the Penn teams will compete in pivotal Ivy League contests.

Coming off a major conference win over Ivy foe Dartmouth, Penn women’s lacrosse is looking to take down Columbia this coming Saturday.
