As registration opens for the spring semester, some students are unable to register for classes because of noncompliance with university policy regarding vaccines. While some simply were noncompliant for technicalities or missing information, others may have to choose to be vaccinated or not be a Penn student next semester. In recent weeks, the fraternity Psi Upsilon, better known as Castle, has faced backlash from Penn students. This follows a DP article published September 23, which details an alleged assault by a Castle brother that left the victim with severe injuries. Students protested in a variety of ways and created a list of demands, including the removal of Castle from Locust Walk.
