Penn gymnastics is looking for a fresh start. After placing a disappointing fourth place in the Ivy League last season, Penn is hoping to raise its performance level with the help of an impressive group of six new recruits. And if the opening meet of the season was any indication, this class is ready to make an immediate impact to help the Red and Blue get back to the top.

Overall, the 2015-2016 season was one of improvement for Penn gymnastics.

When the Quakers take to the mats for the first time since last weekend’s eye-opening performance with a home showdown against Yale, the task for coach John Ceralde’s squad will be simple: prove to the gymnastics world that the stellar season opener was no fluke.

“I want to be a part of one of the best teams Penn has ever had,” Penn gymnastics freshman Tara Mills told Penn Athletics before the season started. Through one meet, Mills and her teammates are off to a pretty good start.

Penn gymnastics finished its season not with a bang, but with a fizzle.

Back on the last weekend of February Penn Gymnastics had a chance to defend its Ivy Classic Title.

In their final home competition, Penn gymnastics seniors bid adieu to the Palestra.

While the rest of the University heads away from campus, Penn gymnastics will be staying close to home over spring break. After last weekend’s disappointing fourth-place finish at the Ivy League Championships, the Quakers will head to Temple for a tri-meet this Saturday before hosting Bridgeport for the team’s Senior Meet on March 12.

This weekend Penn gymnastics competed in the Ivy Classic, finishing a disappointing last out of four teams as the squad sought to defend its 2015 title.

Penn football shared its 2015 Ivy title with Harvard and Dartmouth. Penn men’s fencing split a conference title with Columbia and Princeton earlier in February. Penn gymnastics wants the whole damn thing.

Somehow, Penn gymnastics just gets better every week. For the third week in a row, the Quakers set a new season-high as a unit, logging a team score of 192.400 en route to a second-place finish behind host Rutgers and ahead of Temple and Ursinus.

Almost there. With only one week to go until the Ivy League Championship, the Penn gymnastics team heads to New Brunswick, N.J.

There’s no such thing as a moral victory? Probably true for the majority of sports, but for Penn gymnastics on Friday night, it may be reasonable to make a slight exception.

Panthers and Tigers and Bears, oh my! That's what the Penn gymnastics team will be facing this Friday at the Shelli Calloway Invitational in Towson, Maryland, as the team will compete against Towson, Pitt and Ursinus.

Red just wasn’t enough this weekend. This weekend, the Red and Blue gymnastics squad beat their Ivy rival Cornell - the Big Red - to earn their first victory at a tri-meet in the 2015-16 season.

They're going north. Coming off of a strong first home meet, the Penn gymnastics team heads to Ithaca on Saturday to take on Ivy League rival Cornell and SUNY Cortland.

So close. In their first home meet of the season, Penn gymnastics came within three-tenths of defeating West Chester, falling by a score of 190.875-190.600.
