One day after falling to Cornell in a game that came down to the final minutes, Penn men’s basketball defeated Columbia, 72-70, for the team’s first Ivy League win of the season. 

In a game of runs, Penn women’s basketball held on late to beat Columbia, 72-60. The Quakers remain the only undefeated team in the Ivy League. 

The women start first at 5:30 p.m., looking to stay undefeated at the top of the League, while the men will follow at 8 looking for their first win of the Ivy season. 

Parker's contributions helped Penn women’s basketball cruise past the Big Red, 59-46.  

Six days after clinching the outright Big 5 title, Penn men’s basketball lost to Cornell, 80-71, for the team’s third consecutive loss in Ivy League play. 

Penn's first Ivy weekend of the year opens with a doubleheader at Cornell. The men start first at 5 p.m. and the women will follow at 7:30.  

The focus for too many fans will be the race for fourth place rather than the quest for first.

Freshman guard Bryce Washington was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week and Big 5 Player of the Week for his performance in Penn men's basketball's 78-70 win over Saint Joseph’s.

Goodman and Grasela both starred at Germantown Academy, a prep school in Fort Washington, Pa., less than an hour away from Penn.

With 23 points, Washington led the Red and Blue in scoring against St. Joseph’s while displaying some impressive marksmanship.

Penn women’s basketball dismantled Division III opponent Haverford, 81-46, in their final nonconference game of the season.

With 14 points in the first half last weekend against Temple, junior forward Kuba Mijakowski sparked the Penn offense to a huge win and a share of the Big 5 title.
