Now, riding an incredible wave of momentum, the Quakers turn their attention to the Paul Short Invitational. After the Red and Blue take the 90 minute trek up to Bethlehem, both the men and the women will be greeted with the longest course that they have seen thus far. The men have an 8K, and the women face a 6K —a mile longer than the previous longest course.

Penn Athletics will be hosting their first Fan Fest of the season this Friday before the Red and Blue’s Ivy League opener again Dartmouth. The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at Shoemaker Green, which is the green field right in front of the Palestra, and right next to DRL (David Rittenhouse Laboratory).

After defeating Cornell at home on Saturday 2-0, Penn field hockey completed the undefeated weekend on the road with a 3-2 overtime victory over American. The Quakers (4-4, 1-0 Ivy) entered both games as underdogs with Cornell (5-2, 01) and American (7-3) both getting off to impressive starts this season.
