A 2014 daily schedule belonging to Jeffrey Epstein shows that the late convicted sex offender extended an invitation to Philadelphia 76ers owner and 1986 Wharton graduate Josh Harris, according to records released on Friday.

The new documents — published on Sept. 26 by the United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform — reveal that Harris was invited to a “tentative breakfast party” with Epstein, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. A note next to the line for the breakfast read, “Invited Ron Baron and Josh Harris … awaiting reply.”

The Daily Pennsylvanian was unable to determine whether Harris accepted or replied to the invitation. Harris did not reply to multiple requests for comment.

The entry did not include details about the time or location of the breakfast, which were marked as “TBD.”

In 1990, Harris co-founded the private equity firm Apollo Global Management alongside Leon Black and 1984 Wharton graduate Marc Rowan. Black resigned from Apollo in 2021 after a board investigation found that he had paid $158 million to Epstein.

Since 2022, Harris has been the managing partner of Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, through which he is the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, the NFL’s Washington Commanders, and the NHL’s New Jersey Devils.

As a student at Penn, Harris wrestled for the University and later donated $1 million to Penn’s wrestling program. In 2022, his nonprofit invested $1 million into four startups selected by the Penn Medicine-Wharton Fund for Health.

The documents come amid the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s ongoing investigation into Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.

According to files released by the committee on Sept. 8, several notable Penn alumni — including 1968 Wharton graduate and President Donald Trump — contributed pages to a 2003 album for Epstein’s fiftieth birthday.
