Assault:

Sept. 24: At 2:07 a.m., an unaffiliated man was arrested for defiantly trespassing and resisting arrest. He became belligerent and struggled with police after being asked to leave.

Sept. 24: At 12:22 p.m., an unaffiliated woman reported being struck on her head outside the Wawa at 38th and Spruce streets by someone she knew.

Auto theft:

Sept. 23: At 7 p.m., an unaffiliated woman reported her vehicle stolen from the 3200 block of Market Street.

Driving under the influence:

Sept. 25: An unaffiliated man was arrested for DUI as he drove into the SEPTA tunnel at 40th Street and Baltimore Avenue at 12:21 a.m. 

Fraud:

Sept. 25: At 3:13 p.m., an unaffiliated woman reported that somebody made a purchase at the Starbucks on 34th and Chestnut streets with a counterfeit $20 bill.

Sept. 27: At 2:37 p.m., an unaffiliated man was arrested for trying to cash a fraudulent check at the TD Bank at 3735 Walnut St.

Other offense:

Sept. 23: At 11:00 a.m., an unaffiliated woman reported verbal threats made against her on the 3700 block of Market Street.

Robbery:

Sept. 25: At 1:49 a.m., a minor was arrested on the 3900 block of Spruce Street for forcibly taking the phone from an unaffiliated man as he spoke on it.

Sept. 28: At 3:30 p.m., an unaffiliated woman reported getting into an argument with a man she knew on the 3800 block of Woodland Walk. He grabbed her by the neck, hit the side of her head and took money from her.

Theft:

Building: 3

Retail: 2 (including one that resulted in the arrest of an unaffiliated man)
