Bloomberg Businessweek awarded Villanova University School of Business the top spot in its most recent ranking of undergraduate business programs.
Collecting data from students and recruiters across the nation, Bloomberg Businessweek created a comprehensive list of 114 undergraduate business programs. The ranking was based off of four categories including an employer survey, a student survey, the number of students who had internships in college and graduates’ starting salary upon graduation.
“We have ranked undergraduate business programs to help guide prospective college students and their families in choosing the right degree program for the career they want,” said Bloomberg Businessweek.
Villanova shot up in the list after coming in 24th place last year, according to NBC10. Its rise was due in large part to its second place ranking on the employer survey.
Along with Villanova, Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and Boston College’s Carroll School of Management occupied the top three spots.
Wharton fell in the rankings to No. 16, but was ranked No. 1 for starting salary of graduates.
