A 35-year-old male was stabbed in the head at 44th and Chestnut streets early Sunday morning, according to Philadelphia Police.

The male was stabbed once in the head at around 1:54 a.m. on Sunday, a block away from the state liquor store at 43rd and Chestnut streets. He is currently in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

There have been no arrests in connection to the incident.
