My name is Sujay Dewan, and I am a freshman studying The Biological Basis of Behavior in The College. Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan (Yes, there really is a Kalamazoo), I am ready to serve as YOUR Undergraduate Assembly New Student Representative. As a fellow new student, I live the challenges we face everyday, whether it be navigating the plethora of activities or dealing with the varied hours of each dining hall. In my home state, I helped to re-design the state-wide structure of Michigan Scouting, while balancing a large budget among committee members, just as the UA does with over $2 million dollars, each year. As youth chair of my hometown, I created the city-sponsored Earth Day Green-a-thon, and strongly believe in Penn Green Initiatives. In my free time, I enjoy programming, meeting my classmates, and eating Insomnia Cookies.
