I’ve enjoyed exploring what the campus has to offer in my first few weeks. However, there’s always something to improve; after all, we have to admit that us freshmen are still teenagers full of angst and complaints. Some areas I’d like to address while on the UA include expanding what counts as a sector/foundational requirement, extending dining hall hours to 10pm, making Penn InTouch more user-friendly for course search and selection, expanding UPenn Alerts to cover areas adjacent to campus where crime has been unreported to students, providing universal air conditioning in college houses (Hill knows what I’m talking about…), and moving towards a need-blind policy for international students to treat all students as equals. If you see me, let me know your ideas! Because of my passion for the university, I’ve already developed a great vision for the future. Let me make it happen.
