Penn is an amazing place to learn and grow as a person. But there’s always room for improvement. My name is Varun Menon, and I am running for re-election to the Undergraduate Assembly. My service this past year has given me the experience to understand firsthand how this unique body functions and accomplishes its mission. In this past semester, I have been able to work with students both on and off the UA on original initiatives that aim to: ensure financial need-blind admissions for all students, form important service partnerships with student organizations, promote a diverse curriculum through the establishment of programs in Native American and Southeast Asian studies, advocate for underrepresented freshman views, insist on the creation of a new student group fund, unveil a new model for an integrated printing system, and much more. With your approval, I hope to continue to work for you this upcoming year!
