Abe Sutton

Hi, I’m Abe Sutton and I’m running for Student Body President because the UA should work for you. That means creating a clear channel where suggestions can be made in a public way. I want to work with the DP to develop a forum on their website, where you can track how long it takes the UA to reply to a specific suggestion and see what steps the UA has taken. This will not only ensure that your voice is heard, it will give us leverage with administrators to push for change. I have a track record of delivering change to the student body. A later drop deadline next fall, the preferred name initiative, and the faculty diversity action plan are all projects I led on the UA. Let’s work together to ensure that the students of tomorrow don’t face the problems we face today.
