The four Class Board presidents came together Tuesday night for the first time this year to discuss their new constitution and collaboration for the upcoming year.
The new constitution - which codified several rules about attendance and meetings between the presidents - will be key in ensuring the boards work together closely this year.
One of the items on the agenda was the 2009 Hey Day, which is in the planning stages. The presidents sat down with representatives from across the University in late October to discuss the safety and timing of the event.
The class presidents would like to see Hey Day moved to the last day of Friday classes. Some students complained last year that they were prevented from taking part in the celebration because the last day of classes - Hey Day's usual date - fell on a Tuesday rather than a Friday. No final decision has been made.
The class boards are also looking into ways to make sure freshmen and sophomores do not engage in unsafe behavior during the celebration.
