A Penn organization that checks accuracy in political advertising has been singled out as one of the 25 most indispensable Web sites by Time.com. Factcheck.org -made famous when Dick Cheney referenced it during the 2004 vice-presidential debate - is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center. It monitors the factual accuracy of campaign advertisements and press releases.Time.com editors called it one of 25 sites they "couldn't live without."The site "picks apart speeches, press releases, TV ads and other public statements by politicians of all stripes to set the record straight," Time said.
