For the first time since 1955, a boxing match involving Penn fighters will take place on campus. The Penn Boxing Club is hosting what it labels as "The Ring of Dreams" at the Newman Center tomorrow starting at 3:30 p.m. The event includes 12 fights and boxers from both Penn and the Jewish Community Center of Northeast Philadelphia. Boxing Club President John Prin, along with Claudia Jones, Corey Brooks and Suzanne Whisner are some of the Penn students scheduled to compete tomorrow. Additionally, Penn assistant boxing coach Phil Cuffey will fight Penn State boxing instructor Ben Kenion in one of the bouts. But possibly the most interesting bout will feature a grandmother and grandfather from Jewish Community Center fighting each other. Several notable local boxers will be in attendance tomorrow, including Bernard Hopkins. Admission to the match is $10. -- Jason Bodnar
