Campus Crime Report

Fraud € September 15 -- A female University staff member reported that two black women approached her on the 3500 block of Market Street at about 5 p.m. and offered her half of a sum of "found" money in exchange for $500 in advance cash. After the two women obtained the woman's money, they fled without further contact.

Auto Theft € September 15 -- A male University employee reported that his red Acura Legend was stolen from a parking space on the 300 block of South 42nd Street sometime between September 13 and 5 p.m. on September 15. The car contained about $700 in assorted clothing.

Theft € September 16 -- A female employee at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, located at 3400 Civic Center Boulevard, reported that $50 in cash was stolen from her purse in an unsecured office sometime around 2 p.m.

€ September 15 -- A male University student reported that $7 in cash as well as assorted credit cards and a watch were stolen from a secured locker at Gimbel Gymnasium, located at 3701 Walnut Street, sometime between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The student later learned that $3,057 in unauthorized charges had been made on the stolen credit cards.

€ September 15 -- A woman with no affiliation to the University reported that her purse, containing a wallet with $300 in cash and assorted credit cards, was stolen from her side as she was watching a concert at the Iron Gate Theater, located at 3700 Chestnut Street, sometime between 8 p.m. and 8:10 p.m.

€ September 15 -- A man with no affiliation to the University reported that his wallet, containing various credit cards, was stolen from a locker at Gimbel Gymnasium, located at 3701 Walnut Street, sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

€ September 13 -- A female University student reported that her hair dryer was stolen from her unsecured room at Hill House, located at 3333 Walnut Street, sometime between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.
