Judge to reconsider sentence in Sled killing Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge James Lineberger agreed to a defense request to change his sentence, taking into account that Bridgette Black -- the one who has confessed to actually stabbing Sled five times on Halloween night in 1996 -- received only a five-to-12-year sentence from Common Pleas Judge Carolyn Temin. Temin was recently reassigned to the court system's civil division following a series of columns in The Philadelphia Daily News that labeled her the "Queen of Murder Lite" for being too lenient in sentencing convicted murderers. The third defendant, Eugene Harrison, was acquitted of murder but found guilty of robbery in connection with the Sled killing and an earlier robbery. Lineberger sentenced him to seven to 14 years in jail. -- Ben Geldon
