Police charge student's brother with murders James Robertson, 24, was taken into custody November 25 when he pulled up to his brother's house on the 500 block of South 41st Street. He was taken to the Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives bureau and charged with double homicide in the brutal slayings of his parents Earl and Terry Robertson. After being told by Philadelphia homicide detectives that Robertson and a female companion were driving to the Philadelphia home of his brother, Wharton senior Earl Robertson Jr., the University Police's Special Response Team deployed plainclothes officers to make the arrest. The suspect's brother, who is on medical leave from the University, didn't know that his brother was on his way to his house, according to Det. Commander Tom King. "[The brother] didn't have anything to do with anything," King added. -- Ian Rosenblum
