Armed Robbery University Police Capt. John Richardson explained that a man approached the student from behind, at approximately 6:50 p.m., put a gun to his ribs and demanded money. When the student noticed the perpetrator's small silver semiautomatic handgun, he complied with the man's demands, giving him a wallet containing $43 in cash, credit cards and a PennCard. Detectives from University Police and the Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives Bureau are investigating the incident. Strong-Arm Robbery A man demanding money robbed a University employee Friday evening on 43rd and Spruce Streets, Richardson said. After the employee gave the perpetrator $5 in cash at approximately 8:35 p.m., he told her she was free to go. The woman was not injured, and Richardson said it is not known whether force was used in the incident. Bomb Threat The Office of Undergraduate Admissions in College Hall received a telephoned bomb threat Thursday afternoon, police said. At approximately 3:10 p.m., a deep-voiced man in his mid-20s called the office, saying "a group has a bomb on campus," Richardson said. University Police detectives are investigating the incident and have not yet found evidence of a bomb. Indecent Exposure Several male University students exposed their rear ends and genitals Friday evening to a female housekeeping employee in the Towne Building at 33rd Street and Smith Walk, police said. The employee was cleaning a bathroom in the School of Engineering and Applied Science building when the students exposed themselves, but they fled upon the arrival of University Police officers, Richardson said. No arrests have been made in the incident, which occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. -- Scott Lanman
