Taub came to the Photo Department early in her freshman year, but as a member of the swim team, she had little time to spend shooting. A competitive swimmer since the age of six, her mother claims "she needs chlorine to breathe." Arlene Taub also claims her daughter, a College sophomore, has always "wanted to fit 36 hours into 24" -- a feat that will come in handy during those long nights scanning in the photo office. Mrs. Taub said before finding photography, her daughter tried her hand at ballet, gymnastics and ice skating -- as well as swimming. However, Taub may have tried to cram too much into one day during high school. It seems that she and a fellow swimmer went to practice and forgot to bring underwear. They ended up having to wear swimsuits under their clothes to school. A friend who wished to remain anonymous claims she would know the world was coming to an end if Taub didn't have Tropicana Orange Juice every morning. All sources were in agreement that Taub brings enthusiasm to everything she does and will do a great job. Although everyone we spoke to claimed that Nicolaides is almost perfect, we managed to find out some interesting tidbits about the Cyprian. It seems that sailing is not the only water sport he loves. Nicolaides's lab partner, Eric Tsai, claims he entered class after a fall break scuba diving trip wearing shark skin. Sources close to Nicolaides, known as "Pelo" to those who love him, say he has a fetish for beef jerky and iced tea. An anonymous source discussed one of Nicolaides's few dislikes. He absolutely hates when other people's feet touch him. The source could think of only one possible explanation. "Well, in Indian culture, you're not supposed to put your feet on books because it's disrespectful of the knowledge they contain," she said. "Maybe he's like that, maybe he's sacred or something." -- Laura Dwyer & Hooman Anvar
