Police arrest two robbery suspects Police arrested the first suspect at 1:35 a.m. at 41st and Spruce streets for allegedly robbing two female students at gunpoint, according to Peterson. Undercover officers were following the male because he was acting suspiciously, Peterson said. Meanwhile, the robbery victims found two uniformed officers and told them they had just been robbed by a man fitting the suspect's description. The undercover officers chased the suspect and arrested him, recovering a pistol they believe he used while mugging the students, Peterson said. In the second incident, police arrested a suspect for allegedly robbing a man of $50 at gunpoint on 42nd and Baltimore streets at 10:30 p.m., according to Peterson. Police made the arrest after stopping the suspect's car because it fit the victim's description, Peterson said, adding that the victim later identified the suspect as the robber. University Police are investigating both suspects' possible involvement in other armed robberies near campus. – Ben Hammer Frosh election goes to runoff today Freshman Class Board run-off elections will be held today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in front of Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, according to Wharton sophomore Clive Correia, president of the Sophomore Class Board, which is in charge of freshman class elections. More than 540 freshmen voted in Monday and Tuesday's elections, he said. Four positions will be contested during today's run-off. Freshmen can choose between College freshmen Michael Flicker and Lisa Marshall for president and College freshmen Sami Weisberg and Sarah Zimbler for vice president. Four College freshmen are running for the two school representative slots -- Irene Bolante, Ryan Robinson, Michael Silver and Dean Straff. And College freshman John Fisher and Nursing freshman Amy Koeningsburg will participate in the run-off for the position of secretary. Correia also announced the winners for positions not requiring run-offs yesterday. College freshman David Chu was voted vice president for corporate sponsorship and College freshman Ben Schein will serve as the class's treasurer. Wharton freshman Monique Mayer and Nursing freshman Lindsay Hixson will represent their schools on the boards.
