To say that vomit traverses up and down my esophagus when I hear the name Hodgson now would be the understatement of the century. I am ashamed not only for him, but for the human race in general that such an indecisive man exists who lacks both character and testicles. Further, I am ashamed for Penn that the school continued to leech onto this louse for as long as it did, regardless of the fact that his enrollment here would have automatically extended Penn's conference winning streak to at least 85. While I feel sorry for Penn coach Fran Dunphy, and would feel even worse if Hodgson was an isolated incident, I am alarmed that both Jeff Knoll and George Zaninovich, both possible starters with Hodgson, have also left the team. What the hell's going on here? Coach, either get some control over your players, or stop recruiting these crybaby momma's boys who can't stomach the horror of playing in the rough and tumble Ivy League. -- Steven Siegal, Wharton 96 I thought Penn was supposed to be an, excellent school that only accepts people who are at least semi-intelligent and can make decisions for themselves. Besides, pushing academics aside, how can anybody expect him to be able to decide when to pass the ball, who to pass it to or when to shoot? Doesn't Penn have a high caliber basketball program with players who can make the right decision at the right time? Hodgson can't even decide which team to play on! Wake up, Penn! Rob Hodgson doesn't belong here, nor should we want him here. -- Susan Fisher, Nursing Graduate student
