Compiled by DP Sports Staff Most notable among the seven victories was Columbia, which defeated Lafayette 28-13 in New York. Quarterback Mike Cavanaugh led the Lions with two third-quarter touchdown scampers from 24 and 33 yards out. Columbia has more points (88) after three games than any other Lions team since 1945. Cornell and Princeton also had come-from-behind wins in Week 3. Big Red tailback Chad Levitt scored all three touchdowns for Cornell in a 21-17 win over Lehigh. The Tigers blocked a punt and recovered in the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown against Bucknell. Yale beat Connecticut, 28-17, only its second win against the Huskies in its last 12 tries. Keith Price ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns. The Elis jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead. Quarterback Jason McCullough passed for 233 yards and threw two touchdowns as Brown beat Colgate 26-7. Dartmouth allowed only three yards rushing, getting its first win of the season against winless Fordham. Quarterback Ren Riley ran for two touchdowns and passed for another in the 31-14 victory. Harvard ran 95 plays, one short of a school record, and had scoring drives of 79, 85, 67 and 76 yards in a 27-17 win at hapless Holy Cross, which the Quakers will host this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Franklin Field. Two Ivy League games are on Saturday -- Brown travels to Princeton in a matchup of 2-1 teams which are winless in the League, and Cornell plays at Harvard.
