Two men, one of whom allegedly car-jacked and attempted to abduct a woman outside of King's Court/English House Sunday evening, were arrested at about 2 a.m. yesterday morning in Bensalem, Pa., University Police said last night. Guillermo Suarez, 38, and Raymond Moore, 38, of Philadelphia, were pulled over and arrested at a motel about a quarter mile north of the Lincoln Highway by Bensalem Police, Detective Tim Carroll said. Carroll, who was working a plain clothes shift, saw the damaged black Acura Legend in a liquor store parking lot and ran the license plate through the National Crime and Information Center. "It identified that the car had been stolen in Philly," he said. "Then I just called for a marked car." The attempted abduction and carjacking occurred outside of King's Court/English House Sunday evening at about 6 p.m., University Police Sergeant Keith Christian said. The woman, 30-year-old Judy Longo from Wayne, Pa., remained in the Acura with the motor running while her boyfriend dropped off his niece, a College freshman who lived in the dorm. Within minutes, a man jumped into the car and attempted to drive away with Longo in the car, Christian said. Two University graduate students, however, pulled Longo out of the car, after a brief struggle with the assailant. The assailant then sped away, hitting the King's Court wall and two parked cars before heading north on 36th street. The two suspects, who are brothers-in-law, have been charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of an automobile and criminal conspiracy, Carroll said. Carroll added that the two men were sent to a Bucks County prison in lieu of their hearing, which will be held sometime next week. The stolen personal property recovered from the car and motel room, which included identification, credit cards, $30 cash and personal belongings, was returned to the victim. The car was returned to its owner. The actual carjacking charge is under investigation by Philadelphia Police Detectives, who must obtain an arrest warrant before the two men can be released to city officers, he said.
