The votes are in and Josh Klenoff is the new president of the freshman class board. College freshman Klenoff won yesterday's run-off election, after the first round of voting had narrowed the field from seven candidates to three. College sophomore Christian Hensley said he was pleased with the elections. "I think we had a number of diverse candidates that were widely representative of the student population," he said. He added that the 18 percent turnout was "in line with [Nominations and Elections Committee] turnouts for UA elections." College freshman Carl Irace was elected vice-president and College freshman Karen Kassover was elected secretary. Wharton freshman Andrew Feuerstein will be the new treasurer. Wharton freshman Joshua Silverstein was elected vice president of corporate sponsorship and Shari Goldsmith and Jill Weiner were voted in as College representatives. Blake Mills will serve as Engineering representative while Christopher Friese and Tom Foldesi will be the new Nursing and Wharton representatives, respectively. Feuerstein said he is looking forward to his new role. "We're going to get input from our class to do things that everyone enjoys," he said. He also expressed confidence in Klenoff's ability to represent the freshman class. "He owns a copier machine and helped me with my campaign," he said. "He's a friendly person and I think someone who's nice to others will be able to represent the student body very well."
