The boards will represent each class at the University, and be modeled after the senior class board, which plans and conducts social functions. The so-called "budget summit" between leaders from the Undergraduate Assembly, Nominations and Elections Committee, Social Planning and Events Committee, Student Committee on Undergraduate Education and Student Activities Council will attempt to decide how to appropriate money for the boards and how to advertise their mission to the student body. The future of SPEC will also be discussed at the meeting. With their three-year grant from the administration ending this year, leaders will be forced to locate a new source of funds for the organization. UA Chairperson Jeff Lichtman said he and other student leaders might ask the University for additional funds. "We will ask [Vice Provost for University Life Kim Morrisson[ about increasing the percentage of the general fee from last year," said Lichtman, a College senior. The meeting will be held in the Smith--Peniman Room of Houston Hall at 2 p.m. -- Dennis Berman
