Disorderly Conduct

July 1: Suspect, who remained anonymous, was observed placing a green substance into a ceramic cigarette near the 3400 block of Sansom Street at 6:15pm. Upon further investigation, the green substance was found to be marijuana. During investigation, the suspect became combative and shouted and cursed at police. Summary citation for disorderly conduct was issued to the suspect. Suspect was subsequently arrested.

July 7: Suspect, an unaffiliated 34 year-old female, was observed behaving erratically and using obscene language near the 3400 block of Chestnut Street at 4:05pm. Suspect had an odor of alcohol emanating from her person. Suspect was arrested.

Other Offense

July 3: Suspect, an unaffiliated 51 year-old male, was observed urinating in courtyard near Vance Hall. Suspect was arrested.

Robbery

July 4: Suspect, who remained anonymous, removed money from the complainant’s person while physically restraining the complainant, near the 3700 block of Spruce Street at 4:18am. No arrest was made. The suspect was sent to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

July 6: Complainant, an affiliated 32 year-old female, reported an unknown suspect snatched her phone from her hand near the 4200 block of Spruce Street at 6:20pm.

July 7: Complainant, an unaffiliated male, reported that the suspect entered an employee entered an employee-only area and removed a wallet from a pocketbook, at the Pattaya Grill (4006 Chestnut Street) att 7:22pm. The suspect then attempted to leave the premises with the wallet. After investigation, suspect was arrested.

Assault

July 5: Confidential assault.

Fraud

July 5: Bank employee reported that the suspect, an unaffiliated 26 year-old male, attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the Citizen’s Bank (134 S. 34th Street) at 10:57am.

July 5: Bank employee reported the suspect, an unaffiliated 36 year-old male, attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the TD Bank (3735 Walnut Street) at 12:19pm.
