Daytime classes are canceled on Wednesday, Jan. 22 due to snow.
A Weather Advisory on the Division of Public Safety’s website Tuesday night said “Due to inclement weather the University of Pennsylvania is suspending normal operations for Wednesday, January 22, 2014. All day classes are cancelled.”
A banner on the home page of the University’s website also linked to DPS’s announcement, and a UPenn Alert at around 10:15 p.m. confirmed the cancellations.
However, a decision on nighttime classes had not yet been made at 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday. A tweet from Penn’s account instructed students to call 215-898-MELT for real-time updates on University operations.
A decision on on-campus recruiting events has not yet been made, according to an email from Career Services Director Patricia Rose.
Classes were also suspended at 2 p.m. on Tuesday due to snow. OCR events were canceled and dining halls closed early on Tuesday evening.
Check back for updates on University operations, including sorority and fraternity recruitment.

This article has been updated to reflect the fact that no decision has yet been made about canceling OCR events for Jan. 22
