The salad bar wasn’t the only place in Houston Hall featuring longer lines during the lunchtime rush.

College freshman Joe Isaac, a poll watcher at the Houston location, said that although the line was still “manageable” it became “busy around 1:30.”

Jonathan Skekloff, a College sophomore and one of Houston’s poll workers, said this might be one of the most convenient voting locations for students given its proximity to academic buildings. Skekloff, whose polling location is at 42nd and Pine streets, remarked that the Houston location has been much busier than his.

Assessing the student vote, he said, “I’m pleased with the turnout.”
