Burglary

Sept. 4 - A female student, 20, reported that someone entered her unsecured room on the 3900 block of Spruce Street and took her laptop at about 7 p.m.

Sept. 3 - A female student, 21, reported that someone entered her unsecured room on the 4000 block of Pine Street and took her laptop at about 11 a.m.

Sept. 2 - Shawn Jones, 34 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested around 9 a.m. for allegedly entering Johnson Pavilion without authorization.

Sept. 2 - A male student, 21, reported that someone entered his unsecured residence on the 3900 block of Pine Street and took a laptop and camera a little after 9 a.m.

Sept. 2 - Someone broke into an office at the Penn Humanities building and stole various electronics at about 9:15 a.m.

Theft

Sept. 4 - A female University employee, 28, reported that someone stole credit cards from her wallet at Steinberg-Dietrich Hall at about noon.

Sept. 4 - Joseph McSwain, 37 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. for allegedly attempting to leave Fresh Grocer without paying for merchandise.

Sept. 4 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 53, reported that someone stole her unattended bag a little after 3 p.m. from Steinhardt Hall.

Sept. 4 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 48, reported that someone broke into her room at the Inn at Penn at about 6 p.m. and took her wallet.

Sept. 3 - A male student, 23, reported that someone entered his unsecured room on the 4000 block of Walnut Street and took personal property a little after 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 2 - A female student, 18, reported that someone took her unattended pocketbook from Strikes Bowling Alley about 1:30 a.m.

Sept. 2 - Victor Lloyd, 43 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about 11:15 a.m. for allegedly attempting to leave Fresh Grocer without paying.

Sept. 2 - A female student, 28, reported that someone took her wallet from her unattended handbag at the Penn Bookstore at about 5:30 p.m.

Sept. 2- A man unaffiliated with the University, 60, reported that someone broke into his vehicle parked on the 200 block of 33rd Street and stole personal property at about 11:15 p.m.

Sept. 1 - A male student, 22, reported that someone stole property from his unsecured residence on the 3300 block of Walnut Street about 1 a.m.

Sept. 1 - Jasmine El, 19 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about noon for allegedly attempting to leave Urban Outfitters without paying.

Sept. 1 - T-Mobile reported that cell phones valued at about $450 were stolen at about 5:30 p.m.

Sept. 1 - A male student reported that his bicycle was stolen from Rodin College House a little before 6 p.m.

Sept. 1 - A man unaffiliated with the University, 58, reported that someone broke into his vehicle parked by the Newman Center and stole a pair of sunglasses at about 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 1 - A female student, 21, reported that someone stole a speaker from her residence on the 3900 block of Pine Street at 10:30 p.m.

Narcotic

Sept. 3 - Anthony Thomas, 53, and Charles Dantley, 29, both unaffiliated with the University, were arrested for allegedly possessing several small bags containing a chunky white substance.
