[Becca 'If you didn't already know, I'm from Boston' Starr/The Boston Globe] The cover of 'Playboy' magazine will feature footage of a Penn student appearing to have sex in the window of Hamilton College House. The couple will be the storied magaz

The two students photographed having sex against a high-rise dormitory window last semester will now bare all to an even larger audience -- Playboy's.

After the University dropped sexual harassment charges against the Engineering junior who took the infamous photos and posted them on the Internet, he decided to take his First Amendment rights to the next level.

Playboy offered the student $10,000 for rights to his already widely circulated photograph.

"The money is nice," said the student, who wished to remain anonymous. "But it's also my own little way of screwing the Office of Student Conduct against a metaphorical glass window."

OSC officials would not comment.

The photograph will be the centerpiece of Playboy's "Ass on Glass" feature for April.

Upon hearing of the deal, the girl in the photo threatened to sue Playboy, but she dropped the suit after the magazine offered to name her honorary Playmate of the month.

"Hugh loves her work," Playboy spokeswoman Lauren Malone said. "This photograph has opened up a window of opportunities for her -- no pun intended."

Renowned defender of academic freedom of expression and Penn History professor Alan Charles Kors, who publically defended the photographer against the OSC's charges in December, said he thinks the student has every right to sell the photo.

"If a student at Penn does not have the right to take a photograph of what is in plain sight and sell it to the highest bidder, then you have no rights," Kors said. "And I don't want to teach at a university where students have no rights."

Kors added that he will be exercising his own constitutional rights by subscribing to the magazine.

But history professors aren't the only ones eagerly waiting for the issue to hit the shelves.

"I'm really excited to pick up a copy," College sophomore Alex Twist said. "I mean, uh, you know, just for the articles."

The release of the magazine will coincide with Hugh Hefner's campus visit as part of the Fox Leadership speaker series.

"He's every Whartonite's wet dream," Wharton Women Marketing and Publicity Chairwoman Shannon Knee said.

The Panhellenic Council is co-sponsoring the event.

"We're hoping some of our girls might be able to get summer internships," Panhel President and Wharton junior Catie Vuksich said.

During his visit, Hefner and his entourage of Playmates will stay in the Delta Delta Delta house.

"We want Hef to feel at home," Tri-Delt President Caroline Gammil said.
