2020 Wharton graduate Evan Thomas said the album "Foundations" will be a “beautiful story” addressing his coming out and his experiences as a gay Black man from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

He previously served as Utah’s governor from 2005 to 2009, before stepping down to become former President Barack Obama’s ambassador to China.
