Just hours after Beyoncé announced that she's pregnant with twins, the superstar received more good news. Her unborn children have just been offered admission to the University of Pennsylvania, a significant break from the tradition of not accepting people until they formally apply, or at least until their parents write a sizable check.

This protestor, interviewed by the DP two years ago, apparently usually stakes his claim against "communists and atheists". Today, his sign was a little different. Although his sign still accuses Obama of dictatorship, at least the protestor is fair in accusing Trump of the same thing.

When Engineering student Mitchell Zhao, Class of 2018, left his dorm this chilly morning in a thin cotton t-shirt, sweatpants, and a pair of flip flops, a Guinness World Record was the last thing on his mind. He was preoccupied: he had a CIS assignment due, among other things, and had only consumed three Red Bulls since he woke up. Mitchell didn't pay any mind to traffic as he crossed 34th Street without looking to either side.

Notable Penn grad Tiffany Trump, daughter of notable Penn grad Donald Trump (best known for being President), is registered to vote in both N.Y. and P.A. This doesn't seem particularly bad, because it isn't a crime, but Donald Trump disagrees. This very morning, he tweeted that he would be asking for a "major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states". Really.

In the summer of 2014, Obama broke the nation's heart. While ordering what appears to be a bowl at Chipotle, he reached over the so-called sneeze guard and pointed at the pico de gallo with an ungloved hand, dangerously close to the food. This will be remembered as his biggest failure during his presidency.

Fossil Free Penn is perhaps a controversial organization. Many students support the group, whose goal is to encourage Penn to divest from fossil fuels and reinvest some of its money in clean energy, but plenty of students and alumni consider the group's aims to be unrealistic or financially unwise.

Van Pelt is not exactly a comfortable place, but the library is about to get a whole lot more student-friendly. Penn has announced plans to construct a sound-proofed room on the first floor on Van Pelt. Taking the place of periodicals, which had previously inhabited the area, the room is designed to provide students a private, intimate place to yell, scream, sob, or make a throaty "ughhhhh" sound in despair.

Yesterday, the DP reported that alleged Castle arsonist Lorenzo Bonfiglio was given probation after pleading guilty to two charges: recklessly endangering another person, and criminal mischief — tampering with property. This marks the ostensible ending to a long legal process, in which Bonfiglio's preliminary and pretrial hearings were pushed back at least nine times and his 22 original charges were dropped to two.

It's sorority rush season, which is really just one big blur of black Canada Goose jackets, the phrase "we were just talking about", and the song "Sorry" by Justin Bieber. All conversations begin with "wow it's so cold/warm outside!", lead to "oh you're undecided? it's okay, you have so much time!" and end with "my coat is the black one with fur". We're here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way. Here are some rush conversation starters that will 100% get you a bid*:

A video of Provost Vincent Price rapping at commencement last year has garnered some 66,000 views. Having a rapper as Provost has been great, and we don't want it to end when Price goes to Duke. So we reached out to the real Leo Charney, Executive Director of Communications at the Office of the Provost, to see if our next Provost will spit fire.

A charming smile. Elegant, dark wood in the background. Thick, lustrous hair—styled like a movie star. A tastefully unbuttoned shirt. Ladies and gentlemen, Dean Furda is alive and well.

Spring Fling has brought some great artists to Penn: Akon, Chance the Rapper, Ke$ha, David Guetta,Tiesto, and plenty of others. Some artists, however, have cheapened the concert series: Tyga, for example, was perhaps not the best choice in 2013, no matter how big of a hit "Rack City" was.
