Regarding marriage equality: "I never thought I'd see it in my lifetime. It was amazing. It knocked me over. I've been with my partner for sixteen years, and we adopted in 2004 two children, two baby boys from Guatemala. It was just the final piece to the puzzle, being able to make everything legal."
