In this week's crime log: Auto theft and stolen credit cards at Panera

Theft From Building:

Nov. 13: Complainant reported her credit cards were stolen from her unsecured bag at Panera Bread.

Nov. 14: Complainant reported her wallet was stolen out of her purse by an unknown suspect at the New Deck Tavern.

Nov. 17: Complainant reported her cell phone was missing after she left it unattended at the bathroom in Distrito.

Auto Theft:

Nov. 16: Complainant reported his vehicle was missing from its parked location in front of his residence on South 40th Street.

Sexual Offense:

Nov. 14: A confidential case of a sexual offense was reported.

Retail Theft:

Nov. 15: A suspect placed merchandise in a backpack and left Acme Markets located at 40th and Walnut streets without paying. No arrest was made.

Nov. 15: A suspect, identified as Stephanie Kemp who is unaffiliated with Penn, took merchandise and left Acme without paying. An arrest was made.

Nov. 16: A suspect, identified as Andre Jones who is also unaffiliated with Penn, took merchandise and left CVS Pharmacy on 39th Street without paying. An arrest was made.

Nov. 17: A suspect took merchandise and left Acme without making a payment. No arrest was made.

Nov. 18: A suspect took merchandise and left Acme without making a payment. No arrest was made.

Bike Theft:

Nov. 16: A complainant reported a bike missing from a bike rack on South 34th Street where it had been secured with a lock.
