Indecent Assault:

Oct. 3: A group of kids on bikes approached two separate complainants, grabbing at them without consent, along the 3800 block of Walnut Street and the 4000 block of Walnut Street, respectively.

Trespass:

Oct. 6: An offender identified as 21-year-old Charles Matthews was found inside a fenced and gated storage area in Van Pelt Library. Outreach support services from the Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services was provided.

Sex Offenses:

Oct. 5: A confidential case of rape was reported on the 3200 block of Chestnut.

Oct. 5: A confidential case of rape was reported on the 3700 block of Chestnut.

Burglary:

Oct. 4: Complainant reported finding his personal property missing from his basement on the 3900 block of Spruce Street.

Bike Theft:

Oct. 5: A secured bike was reported missing from the bike rack in front of the Chemistry Building.

Oct. 7: A secured bike was reported missing from the rear yard of a complainant on the 4000 block of Sansom Street.

Oct. 7: A bike was reported missing from the rear yard of a complainant on the 4000 block of Sansom Street.

Theft From Building:

Oct. 4: A complainant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania reported her purse missing.

Oct. 6: A complainant reported personal property removed from a delivered package located on the driveway of Simon Apartments.

Theft Other:

Oct. 6: Complainant reported property missing from a package delivered on the front step at 4100 block of Spruce Street.

Oct. 7: Packages delivered on the front porch at the 4000 block of Sansom Street were reported to be opened and rummaged through.

Oct. 7: Complainant reported his seat and post missing from his bike which was locked to a bike rack on the 4000 block of Locust Street.
